HOW IT HAPPENED
Johnson & Wales came out of the gates on the attack, as Soph Hamel opened the scoring at 5:06 of the first period. Jianna Truppi added a late goal, sending JWU into the intermission up 2-0.
In the second period, Madi Fox pushed the Wildcats advantage to 3-0 before Truppi added another final minute goal. Johnson & Wales added one more score in the third to capture a 5-0 win over New England College.
