New England College

Pat's Peak

Pats Peak Ski Area, located in the only Henniker on Earth, opened for skiing on January 5, 1963 and has a vertical drop of 770 feet and a summit elevation of 1,460 feet. It was the home of the 1974 USA National Slalom Championship and is located just one mile from campus.

It is an ideal training ground within minutes of school and NEC is the only college team that claims Pats Peak as its home mountain, which allows NEC priority times for training and races.

The mountain has 28 total trails and slopes with nine gladed areas. The longest run is 1.5 miles and features difficulties ranging from novies to expert.

Pats Peak has lights on the whole mountain for skiing until 10 pm each night from Thursday through Sunday and is New Hampshire's largest night skiing facility. Park selection is available for both jumps and freestyle.
