The New England College Field Hockey Team closes out their 2020-21 campaign Sunday as they head south to take on the Raiders of Rivier University at 1:00 pm.

The Pilgrims have played just three games so far this year two against Keene State and one against Eastern Connecticut. New England College has yet to pick up a win this year but has played some strong competition and held their own. The Pilgrims are a very young team playing a rather non-traditional season as they gear up for the coming fall. New England College has not been able to generate a lot of offense so far this season and will be looking to score some goals in their final game as they chase a win.

The Raiders have yet to play this season and will be ready to go after such a long wait between games. Back in 2019 Rivier finished at 6-10 playing their final game on October 30th. The Raiders will be looking for a win in their only game of the year.

The last time these two played was back in that 2019 season as Rivier claimed a 2-1 win. In that game, the Raiders struck twice in the second quarter which would prove to be enough for the win as the Pilgrims scored one in the third. New England College will be looking for some revenge in this matchup while Rivier will be looking for another win.
