The New England College Field Hockey Team continues their 2020-21 campaign Thursday as they head south to take on the Warriors of Eastern Connecticut State University at 5:00 pm.

The Pilgrims have played just two games so far this year both against Keene State. New England College dropped both contests by scores of 4-1 and 2-0 but they put up competitive performances in both games. The Pilgrims have a very young roster comprised of almost entirely Freshmen and Sophomores and have had good showings thus far considered their lack of experience. New England College also has several dual-athletes on its roster so they are working with limited players in this non-traditional season.

The Warriors come in at 3-0 with wins over Keene State and Plymouth State so far this season. In 2019 Eastern Connecticut finished at 6-12 overall and 5-7 in Little East Conference play.

The Pilgrims are 8-0 all-time against the Warriors with the last game in 2006 as New England College took a 5-0 victory. Eastern Connecticut will be looking to pick up their first win in the all-time series while the Pilgrims will aim to stay undefeated against the Warriors.
