Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. – Cianna Weir recorded 36 saves, but the New England College Women's Ice Hockey dropped a 2-0 decision to Plymouth State University, in New England Hockey Conference action, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
New England College came out on the attack, as they fired the first few shots of the contest. Plymouth State flipped the script, as they were able to outshoot NEC 16-5 in the first 20 minutes. Morgan Morgan picked up the first goal of the day at the 12:38 mark of the first period, as she scored from the top of the left circle.
In the second period, the Panthers added an insurance goal, as Lauren McNeil picked off a breakout pass by New England College and beat the NEC netminder from the slot.
NEC tried to bound back in the third period, but they were unable to find the back of the cage.
