Jeam Castillo launched a solo shot to right field. The Pilgrims expanded their lead in the third, as
Christian Aybar drove in a run with a single, then score on an Evan Delaney base knock. The Rams finally got on the board in the bottom of the fourth, as Jonathan Cloutier drove in one with a single to the right side of the infield.
New England College answered with a score of their own, as Xavier Nunez drove in
Bobby Fulkerson with a single to center field, making it 4-1 NEC. Framingham State tied the game at four apiece with three runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning.
In the top of the eighth, Luis Atiles and Clifford Guerrero scored on walks, putting the Pilgrims up 6-4 heading into the bottom half. In the bottom half, the Rams answered with back-to-back singles, tying the game up at six. Framingham walked off in the bottom of the ninth inning, as Anthony Herman drove in Robert Higgins with a single to left field.
Game Two New England College 9, Framingham State 2 (7 Innings)In game two, NEC jumped out first, as Aybar was awarded first after being hit by a pitch. He advanced to second on a wild pitch, before scoring on a Fulkerson single to center field. New England College added a run in both the third and fourth, before exploding for four runs in the top of the fifth.
With one out in the inning, Jameson Carey singled to center scoring Delaney from third. Atiles was hit by a pitch, scoring Castillo.
Joe Maestu crossed home plate on a fielding error before Carey did the same, one batter later. The Pilgrims picked up another two-out run in the sixth, as Carey ripped a double to left field, scoring Delaney from second.
Framingham State finally got on the board in the bottom of the sixth in game two, as Joe Ambrosino launched a two-run home run to left center field. Aybar finished off the day with a solo home run in the top of the seventh
