Hudson Earns Fourth NAC Rookie of the Week Honor

HENNIKER, N.H.-Freshman Rene Hudson (Gallatin, Tenn.) of the New England College women's basketball team has earned North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the third-straight week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

It's the fourth time this season that Hudson has been billed as the league's top rookie.

Hudson averaged 14 points, five rebounds, 1.7 assists and one steal per game in a 3-0 week for NEC. The guard started the week with 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block against Johnson State. The guard then tallied 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals against UMaine-Farmington. To end the week, Hudson posted 11 points, five rebounds, and one assist against Thomas.

NEC (13-3, 8-2 NAC) returns to action on Monday when they travel to Plymouth State University for a 5:30 p.m. non-conference game.
