HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's basketball team lost against visiting Emmanuel College on Tuesday at the Bridges Gymnasium in Henniker, New Hampshire in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

TURNING POINTS
- Freshman guard Kaira Creary (Federal Way, Wash.) picked up where she left off against Johnson and Wales as she drained a three just 45 seconds into the game on her first shot. She had two more before the end of the first quarter as she led the Pilgrims to a 20-15 lead to close the first ten minutes.
- Sophomore forward Camryn Lewis (Taunton, Mass.) made a layup to stretch the Pilgrims lead to seven to start the second before the Saints scored 10 unanswered points to gain a three-point lead with five minutes before the half. NEC closed out the first half with a 13-6 run led by junior forward Abigail Lacy (Arroyo Grande, Calif.) to bring a four-point advantage to the locker room.
- Neither team held a lead more than three before Reese Bartlett nailed a three-pointer with 6:43 to go in the third to bring the Saints up by six. The teams traded shots as senior guard Amya Moss (Norfolk, Va.) led the Pilgrims with five points as the Pilgrims brought it within three points heading into the fourth. Emmanuel scored six points in the first two minutes as they held the lead halfway through the quarter. Desiree Robinson brought it up to eleven with three minutes to go as the Saints came away with a conference victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Robinson led the game with 19 points as Kaitlyn Bartash followed with 17. Paris Atuahene and Creary finished with 12.
- Moss tallied three assists as Emmanuel had the advantage in the team category.
- Megan Reilly led the game with 11 rebounds as Lewis tallied 10.
