Four Women’s Volleyball Pilgrims Earn CSC Honors

HENNIKER, N.H.- Four players from the New England College women's volleyball team were acknowledged for their academic achievements, earning spots on the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team announced on Tuesday.

Junior defensive specialist Kristina Cardello (Peabody, Mass.), junior setter Aurora Gutierrez-Macias (El Paso, Tex.), sophomore setter Alexandra Seijas (Fort Myers, Fla.) and sophomore outside hitter Samantha Winters (Dover, N.H.) were named to the team in recognition of their achievements both in the classroom and on the court, exemplifying the ideal of student-athletes.

The quartet were part of 27 women's volleyball players from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to be so honored.

The College Sports Communicators – formerly CoSIDA – have recognized outstanding academics among student-athletes since 1952.
