HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College cross country program formally announced their schedule for the 2023 season on Saturday.
The 2023 season marks NEC's first season in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). The program had a strong run in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC), most recently winning the 2021 men's cross country conference championship.
NEC will open their season at their nearest GNAC rival, Colby-Sawyer College on Friday, September 1
st. The 'Grims are scheduled to compete at the GNAC championship meet on Sunday, October 29
th at Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
Returning for the Pilgrims are senior
Keegan Finley (Fredericksburg, Va.) for the women and junior
Malik Keresey (Pittsfield, Maine) for the men, both NECC All-Conference honorees in 2022. They are joined by sophomore
Aleesa Jordan (Casco, Maine), a four-time conference Rookie of the Week last season.
