HOPKINTON, N.H. - The New England College Cross Country team competed at the Hopkinton Cross Country Festival in Hopkinton, New Hampshire on Friday.
For the women, freshman Althea LeBlanc (Derry, N.H.) was the top placing Pilgrim, coming in at 29th overall with a time of 21:02.61. Junior Amanda Ducharme (Bedford, N.H.) came in 59th place with a finish time of 23:08.80. Sophomore Sophia Lapointe (Salem, N.H.) finished in 76th place with a time of 25:56.69. Freshman Skylar Simpson (Prospect, Conn.) and senior Aleesa Jordan (Casco, Maine) finished with times of 26:25.99 and 30:25.40, respectively.
As for the men, Sophomore Ryan Weidman (Weare, N.H.) led the Pilgrims with a finish time of 40:48.88 with junior Anthony Dibattista (Merrimack, N.H.) finishing the race in 47:20.38.
Cross Country is back on the course on November 2nd as they compete in the GNAC Championship hosted by Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.
