HOPKINTON, N.H. - The New England College Cross Country team wrapped up its season on Saturday at the NCAA Regional Championships, finishing 28th overall.
Freshman Althea LeBlanc (Derry, N.H.) led the Pilgrims, placing 127th, finishing with a time of 25:27. She was followed by sophomore Amanda Ducharme (Bedford, N.H.) who crossed the line with a time of 27:00, and freshman Skylar Simpson (Prospect, Conn.) finishing with a time of 30:42. Sophomore Sophia Lapointe (Salem, N.H.) and senior Aleesa Jordan (Casco, Maine) completed the scoring for the Pilgrims with times of 30:48 and 35:22, respectively.
Tufts University won the event with a team score of 51.
