Fitchburg, Mass. – New England College freshman goalkeeper Stephanie Bronowicki (Corona, Calif.) tallied 21 saves as the Pilgrims' women's soccer team fought the Falcons of Fitchburg State University to a 2-2 tie on Tuesday evening at Elliott Field in Fitchburg in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- NEC freshman midfielder Briana Lopes (East Providence, R.I.) gave the Pilgrims a 1-0 lead with just 43 seconds remaining in the first half off her second career goal. NEC went into halftime leading 1-0.
- Down 2-1 with 1:35 left in the game, NEC freshman defender Brynn Murphy (Unity, N.H.) scored her first career goal at the most opportune time to tie it up for the Pilgrims, as they escaped Fitchburg with a 2-2 draw.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Bronowicki, who entered the day ranked seventh in the nation in saves per game, finished one save off her career-high.
