Women's Soccer Closes Season With 3-3 Draw

HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College Women's Soccer team closed out their 2025-2026 season with a 3-3 draw against GNAC opponent Colby-Sawyer College on Wednesday.

In the first six minutes, the Chargers got two shots off that were both saved by senior Hollie Bomba (Seymour, Conn.). The Pilgrims reversed the pressure as sophomore Michelina Follis (Saugus, Mass.) and senior Mia Loewenberg (Milford, Conn.) got shots on goal before the NEC earned a corner kick.

A long pass from graduate Shelby McBain (Indianhead, Md.) found the head of freshman Estrella Michaelidis (Dedham, Mass.) for her fourth goal of the season. It took just under ten minutes for the Pilgrims to strike again as Follis netted one for her second of the season. After ten minutes, NEC got another chance that ended in Loewenberg scoring off an assist from sophomore Madison Bowman (Coventry, Vt.).

The Chargers remained scoreless for just another minute as Lauren Ardolino took a pass from Lauren McKee to get within two. Just over a minute later, McKee got a goal for herself to get the match within two by the half. After eleven and a half minutes without a score, Colby-Sawyer tied it up at three with Ardolino's second goal of the match to end it in a tie.

Sophomore Abbey Keyes (Dedham, Mass.) finished with a team-leading three shots on goal on the afternoon. Bomba recorded 10 saves on 13 shots on goal.
