BOSTON, MASS. - The New England College women's soccer team fell on the road to Emmanuel College 15-0 on Saturday afternoon. 

The Saints wasted no time setting the tone, striking early as Maya Daryanani slotted a precise shot into the bottom of the corner to open the scoring for the home team. Just minutes later, Liz McCormick connected with Ciara Horan who doubled the Saints' lead. The Saints continued to apply the offensive pressure as Sarah Dullaghan buried a shot in the back of the net, pushing the Saints ahead 3-0. 'Grims goalkeeper senior Hollie Bomba (Seymour, Conn.) stood tall in net, making back-to-back saves for the visitors. The Saints would carry a 9-0 lead over the Pilgrims heading into halftime.  

The Saints wasted no time after the break, extending their lead just 56 seconds into the second half with another goal. Bomba continued to stand her ground in net, making several crucial saves as the Saints maintained their offensive pressure. Sophomore Abbey Keyes (Dedham, Mass.) registered the Pilgrims first shot of the half, narrowly missing the target with an ball that just sailed high over the net. The Saints continued to fire shots on target and came away with a 15-0 victory over the Saints.  

Bomba registered 90 minutes in net with 19 saves for the Pilgrims while Keyes tallied two shots.  

The Pilgrims continue GNAC competition as they travel to Northfield, Vermont on Wednesday to face Norwich under the lights for a 7:00 PM kick off.
