Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College Women's Volleyball dropped a close contest against regional powerhouse Babson College, 3-1 in non-conference, Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the first set, Babson jumped out to an early lead and refused to look back, as they jumped out to a 15-2 lead. NEC tried to claw back, as they got within 10 (20-10), but the Beavers pulled away down the stretch, to take the first set 25-11.
The second set was more back and forth, as New England College had their first lead of the match at 3-2, following an Amber Thi kill. Babson would not trail for long, as they pulled away to take the second set 25-17.
The Pilgrims came out on the attack in the third set, as they quickly collected the first three-point, before ballooning their advantage to 12-3. The visiting Beavers would not go away quietly, as they slowly chipped away at the deficit and got within one (24-23). New England College took the third set 25-23, following a Shirita Wimberly kill.
In the fourth set, it was all Babson, as they sprinted out to an 8-1 lead but slowly pulled away to take the set 25-10.
