HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College Volleyball seniors shine in their Senior Day, as they picked up a 3-0 sweep over Bay Path University in non-conference action, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

New England College was in full control early on, as they jumped out a 3-0 lead before it exploded to a 21-3 advantage. The Wildcats picked up a few points late in the set, but the Pilgrims took the first set 25-8.

NEC carried the momentum that they established in the first set, into the second set, as they grabbed an early 8-2 advantage. Bay Path would battle back to get within one (8-7), but the Pilgrims offense was firing in all cylinders. New England College took the second set 25-17.

The third set was tightly contested, as neither team was able to pull away from each other in the early goings. The 'Grims nearly led wire-to-wire in the final set, but they were able to take the third set 25-20.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Amber Thi had a game-high 10 kills, while Tatiana Sampson had six kills
• Kenzie Barron had a career-high five kills while adding 18 assists and eight digs.
• Jaycie Kodama had a game-high 14 digs, while Amaya Avaloz had nine.
• Prior to the game, the NEC Athletic Department four seniors: Amaya Avaloz, Kenzie Barron, Tihani Ehia, and Jaycie Kodama.
• NEC extended their lead in the all-time series, 3-0.
