Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. The New England College women's soccer team fell to Gordon College 3-0 in non-conference action Wednesday night at Don Melander Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Gordon College came out on the attack, as the Fighting Scots fired nine shots in the opening 20 minutes. Gordon broke through in the 25^th minute, as Emily Rodriguez' lob shot snuck under the cross bar, giving the Scots the 1-0 lead. The Pilgrims eventually got a shot on goal in the 27^th minute, as Paytne Walker was able to fire off the shot. Right before halftime, the Scots added another goal, as Calla Ashley fired a shot out from roughly 60 feet out.

Coming out of the halftime intermission, the Fighting Scots continued to extend their lead. Devin Lacroix found the back of the net as she hurried a free-kick before the defense could set up.

GOALTENDERS
Allie Stoddart got the starting nod for the Pilgrims, as the sophomore recorded a career-high 13 saves, while Kali Denty picked up 9 stops for Gordon in the win.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Pilgrims will return home on Sept. 21^st as they open New England Collegiate Conference action with a matchup with Mitchell College at 3:00 pm.
