Box Score HENNIKER, N.H.- The New England College women's soccer team uses two second-half goals to propel pass Eastern Nazarene College, 2-0 in New England Collegiate Conference action Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
New England College was able to control play from the opening whistle. Despite not being able to find the back of the net, the Pilgrims outshot their opposition 9-2 and had an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Kayla Paquin was able to break the shutout bid for both goalies, as she got the Pilgrims on the board in the 66^th minute. Kaitlyn Kostigen was able to thread the needle to free Paquin from the Lions' backline, and Paquin was able to score in the top right corner of the cage. Less than two minutes later Paquin was the one that free Molly Bieksha from the defense, and she was able to beat the Eastern Nazarene keeper 1-on-1.

GOALKEEPERS
Allie Stoddart recorded five saves to pick up the shutout for New England College. Griselda Minchaca made 11 saves in net for Eastern Nazarene.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Pilgrims head into the NECC Playoffs as the third seed. NEC will host a first-round matchup on Saturday, November 2nd, with the time to be determined at a later date.
