Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. For the second time in a week, the New England College women's volleyball team defeated Colby-Sawyer College, this time to a 3-2 score Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the opening set, both teams traded points, but with the score tied at 7-7, Colby-Sawyer College ran off 11 of 12 points to take a 13-7 lead. New England College did not sit back, as they closed out the opening set on a 14-6 run capped off by an ace from Maggie Dadmun.
Both teams continued to answer their opposition, as neither team could build a large lead. It wasn't until the score was 13-11 NEC that the Chargers took six straight points, taking a 17-13 advantage. The Pilgrims would get within two at 18-16, but Colby-Sawyer would pull away down the stretch, as they took the second set 25-17.
The third set, saw New England College jump out to an early 6-1 advantage. The Chargers would slowly chip away at the early deficit, but with NEC leading 12-8, the Pilgrims rattled off seven unanswered points, extending their lead to 19-8. A late push from Colby-Sawyer was not enough, as NEC took the third set 25-18.
The fourth set was extremely close, as the largest lead was five-points, as NEC had that advantage twice. The Chargers were able to overcome the deficit twice to take the fourth set 25-23.
In the fifth set, Colby-Sawyer College was able to start fast as they had a 4-1 lead early on. This would not last long, as New England College rattled off 10 of 12 points to take a 13-7 lead.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
-Tihani Ehia recorded her fifth double-double of the season, following a 13 kill, 30 dig performance. The Pilgrims are 4-1 in those games.
-Ehia's 30 digs on the evening, ties her for the most in a single match. She ties Meaghan Six who recorded 30 vs Dean College on October 19.
-With 13 kills on the night, this is the third time this season that Dreka Griffin has had double-digit kills.

New England College looks to go 3-0 in New England Collegiate Conference action on Saturday as they travel to take on Mitchell College at 12:00 pm.
