AMHERST, Mass.-The New England College women's soccer team fell to the nationally-ranked Mammoths of Amherst College 8-0 on Sunday afternoon.

With the win, #20 Amherst improves to 5-1-1 on the season, while NEC falls to 4-4-1.

GOALKEEPERS
NEC's Kayla Pugliese (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) had a busy day in net, stopping six of the 12 shots she faced over 57 minutes of work. She was relieved by Emily Sashko (Mayfield, Pa.), who recorded six saves in the final 33 minutes of action.

Amherst's Antonia Tammaro earned the win with two saves in 55 minutes of work she was relieved by Erica Sanders, who did not make a save in the final 35 mintutes. The Mammoths outshot their guests 34-2 on the day.
