Box Score HENNIKER, N.H.-The New England College Pilgrims field hockey team fell to the Lasers of Lasell College in nonconference action on Tuesday afternoon.
With the loss, the Pilgrims are 1-6 while the Lasers improve to 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The two teams would battle until nearly the 15
th minute mark when Sam Taylor would find the back of the net to break the tie. She would strike again just four minutes later for her second of the contest. Cailin Flannery would extend the lead to 3-0 just two minutes after that. The Pilgrims would head to the half with some momentum on their side as
Taylor Daileanes (Londonderry, N.H.) would record her fourth goal of the season.
The second half would start off similarly to the first half in the sense that it took nearly 10 minutes for a goal to come through. Taylor would find her third goal of the contest to give the Lasers a 4-1 lead.
Krissie Borrero (Ossining, N.Y.) would cut the lead back to two just one minute after with her first goal on the season. Lasell would add two more goals in the last 10 minutes of play.
GOALKEEPERS
Christine McNeil made seven saves on 13 shots on goal while Makena Leazer and Sofia Rodriguez combined to make four saves on six shots on goal.

The Pilgrims will return home for their first game of a three-game home stand by hosting Colby-Sawyer College on Wednesday the 26
th. They will make their New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) debut the following Saturday when they host Elms.
