SCOUTING THE PILGRIMS
The Pilgrims fell to Elms college on Sunday, in overtime 1-0. The team recorded 16 shots, but only two were on goal.

Kayla Pugliese made five saves on six shots on goal.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING SCOTS
Gordon has started the season, 2-0, with wins against Maine Maritime and Maine-Fort Kent. Their most recent contest was against Maine-Fort Kent and resulted in a 3-2 victory.

The Fighting Scots have scored seven goals in their two games. Asha Steele leads the team with three goals. Devin Lacroix has two goals and Jill Kefalas and Lexi Potter have one goal each.

Last season, Gordon went 8-10-2 with a 2-5-2 record in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). Gordon finished in second place in the CCC tournament after upsetting the number one seed in the quartfinals.

HEAD TO HEAD
NEC claimed a 2-0 victory over Gordon in last season's meeting in Wenham, Mass. The Pilgrim goal scorers were Emily LaPage and Taylor Grant.

NEC's Mackenzie Meegan and Kayla Pugliese combined to make 2 saves, while Gordon's Kali Denty and Jordan Bellamy combined for four saves on six shots.
