FARMINGTON, Maine – The New England College alpine ski teams competed at Titcomb Mountain in a competition hosted by the University of Maine Orono on Sunday in Farmington, Maine. The first race was a slalom, followed by a panel slalom in the second.

TOP 'GRIMS

• NEC graduate Malin Alusic-Bingham (Antrim, N.H.) continued to pace the Pilgrim women, posting times of 38.40 / 41.56 / 1:19.96 for an overall finish of eighth place in the first race. Alusic-Bingham's 38.40 in the first race was good for fifth place in that event. Alusic-Bingham took third in the panel slalom with times of 36.64 / 37.57 / 1:14.21, once again making the podium.
• NEC sophomore Lorelei Holloway (Ashland, Va.) finished in 19^th place overall in the first race, with times of 42.64 / 46.10 / 1:28.74. In the panel slalom, she posted times of 41.63 / 42.41 / 1:24.04, good for 16^th place.
• NEC senior Madeline Ten Kate (Dryden, N.Y.) clocked in with times of 43.67 / 46.05 / 1:29.72, good for 21^st place in the first race. Her times of 43.31 / 42.71 / 1:26.02 were good for 20^th place.
• NEC freshman Peyton Holmes (Hooksett, N.H.) had a finish of 30th place in the first race with marks of 48.82 / 51.96 / 1:40.78. She took 27^th in the panel slalom with marks of 45.76 / 45.83 / 1:31.59.
• NEC sophomore Hogan Bemis (Stow, Maine) led the men with times of 36.32 / 37.13 / 1:13.45, good for 12^th place.
• NEC junior Robert Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) had times of 40.76 / 41.32 / 1:22.08, for 28^th place.
• NEC freshman Owen Kizak (Manchester, N.H.) finished 32^nd with times of 40.18 / 43.32 / 1:23.50.
• NEC graduate Colin Shaw (Colebrook, N.H.) clocked in with 40.84 / 43.13 / 1:23.97, good for 34^th.
