Alpine Ski Concludes Season at Regionals

CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine – The New England College women's alpine ski team concluded their 2025 season at the Eastern Regional Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Sugarloaf Mountain in Carrabassett Valley, Maine.

TOP 'GRIMS

NEC graduate Malin Alusic-Bingham (Antrim, N.H.), the team's breakout performer this season, overcame a DNF on Saturday in the Giant Slalom to post a time of 38.32 in Sunday's Slalom, good for 29^th place in the event.
NEC sophomore Lorelei Holloway (Ashland, Va.) placed in 43^rd place in the Giant Slalom with times of 49.85 / 52.86 / 1:42.71. She followed that up with a time of 41.97 on Sunday, coming in 47^th.
NEC senior Madeline Ten Kate (Dryden, N.Y.) had times of 55.13 / 59.57 / 1:54.70 on Saturday in the Giant Slalom, coming in 51^st place. Sunday saw the senior clock a time of 47.04, good for 53^rd place.
NEC freshman Peyton Holmes (Hooksett, N.H.) clocked times of 57.48 / 58.33 / 1:55.81 in Saturday's Giant Slalom, finishing in 53^rd place. She nearly equaled that placing on Sunday with a 54^th place finish after posting a time of 47.63.
NEC senior Abby Duffy (Concord, N.H.) was unable to finish on Saturday but had a 49.97 on Sunday, placing in 56^th.
