HENNIKER, N.H. - New England College graduate student Malin Alusic-Bingham (Antrim, N.H.) of the NEC women's alpine ski team has been named the Female Pilgrim of the Month for February of 2025 in an announcement by the Department of Athletics on Monday.
Alusic-Bingham impressed all season for the 'Grims, consistently leading the team with times that placed her near the top of leaderboards or sometimes atop the podium. Malin won her first race as a Pilgrim on January 17th at Sugarloaf and followed it up with two more first place finishes in the giant slalom in the month of January. In February, the grad student racked up a 3rd place finish in the panel slalom at Titcomb Mountain on February 2nd, a 1st place finish at Pat's Peak in the giant slalom on February 8th, and a 5th place finish at Pat's Peak in the slalom on the 9th.
Malin's efforts won her the 2025 Reynold's Division women's individual season title and earned her a well-deserved spot on the All-Division First Team. She also helped lead the women's team to qualify for the USCSA Eastern Regional Championships held at Sugarloaf on February 15th and 16th. Alusic-Bingham had a great season in Henniker and caps off her season as the Female Pilgrim of the Month.
