HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College Alpine Skiing team officially released their schedule for the 2026 season on Thursday.
The team joins the MacConnell Division after five seasons away in the Reynolds Division. This allows NEC Alpine to "offer competitive athletes from the eastern region, across the US and worldwide, a pathway to truly excellent collegiate racing," said head coach John Tyler.
They will start the season with a two-day event at Sunday River in Newry, Maine, hosted by Brown University on Monday, January 12 for giant slalom and Tuesday, January 13 for slalom. The following weekend, they will make a trip to Andover, N.H. as Babson will host a two-day slalom event at Proctor Ski Area on January 17 and 18.
On Saturday, January 24, the Pilgrims will travel to Wilmington, N.Y. for a giant slalom event at Whiteface Mountain before a slalom event on Sunday, January 25.
They will finish their season the following week as they head out to Queensbury, N.Y. to West Mountain for a giant slalom event hosted by VTSU-Castleton on Sunday, February 1. Saturday, February 7, the Pilgrims make their lone appearance at Pat's Peak in Henniker, N.H. for a slalom event before traveling to Waterville Valley Resort in Waterville Valley, N.H. for a UConn-hosted giant slalom event on February 8.
Regionals for the 2026 season will once again return to Sugarloaf Mountain in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. The two-day event will start on Saturday, February 14th and end on Sunday, February 15th.
