HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College men's soccer team beat the Union College Dutchmen three to two at Don Melander Field, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The matchup would start off with possession going back and forth between the two sides, until Union senior Evan Farr (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) found the ball out of a scramble in front of the net and scored in the 17th minute. 

• NEC would respond early in the second half from a penalty kick from freshman Joaquin Sanchez-Korenfeld (Santiago, Chile). UC junior Christian O'Sullivan (Reading, Mass.) would regain the lead for the Dutchmen. NEC's freshman Noel Huliselan (Dover, N.H.) would score a bar-down goal to tie the game up at two. Senior Robenson Saintil (West Palm Beach, Fla.) would connect with Sanchez-Korenfeld off a corner to a header to score the game winning goal for the Pilgrims. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• Sophomore Ricardo Aguilera (Ibagué, Colombia) would record six saves in the contest. 

• The 'Grims have now tied the all-time series record 1-1-0 against Union.
