Aguilera's 11 Saves Not Enough As Men's Soccer Falters At Eastern Nazarene

QUINCY, Mass. – Sophomore goalkeeper Ricardo Aguilera (Ibagué, Colombia) finished with a career-high 11 saves as the New England College men's soccer team lost 2-0 at Eastern Nazarene College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quncy, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Lions had goals from Manuel Vibot (Valladolid, Spain) in the 41st minute and Sheelens Ostine (Quincy, Mass.) in the 47th minute.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Aguilera's 11 saves surpassed his previous career-high of eight set against Gordon this past Wednesday, giving him a combined 19 saves in two games for the week.
  • NEC senior defender Robenson Saintil (West Palm Beach, Fla.) led NEC with three shots on the day.
  • The Lions outshot the Pilgrims, 28-11.
