SCOUTING THE PILGRIMS
The Pilgrims fell to Nichols on Saturday, 1-0. Cooper Valinski and
Michael Skarbelis led NEC with four and three shots, respectively.
Tenzin Khenrab and Robbie Ferguson combined to make nine saves in the losing effort.
SCOUTING THE LYONS
Wheaton has started their season with an 1-2-1 record. Their last contest was a 3-2 loss to Keene State. They were able to tie with St. Lawrence, 5-5.
Wheaton has had five different goal scorers this season, Amara Sesay has five, Sean McCall has three, and Chris Brubaker, Thomas Gatanis, and Curran Wait all have one goal each.
Last season, Wheaton went 12-7-2 with a 3-2-2 record in the New England Men's and Women's Atheltic Conference (NEWMAC). They lost to Springfield College in the NEWMAC championship game.
HEAD TO HEAD
Wheaton claimed a 5-0 victory over NEC in last season's meeting in Norton, Mass. The Lyon goal scorers were Roni Diniz with three goals, Neil Fitzgerald with one, and Adam Waks with one.
NEC's Dylan Mix and Samuel Thompson combined to make 11 saves, while Gordon's Erik Wisniewski made five saves.
