Second Half Tallies Lift Colby-Sawyer Past Pilgrims

Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. New England College men's soccer allowed two second half goals as the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers topped the Pilgrims 2-0 Saturday afternoon.

With the win the Chargers improve to 10-6-0 overall and 8-1-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play. The loss drops the Pilgrims to 11-7-0 on the season and 5-4-0 in the NAC.

SCORING

Second Half: After a scoreless first half, the Chargers broke through in the 59th minute when freshman Noah Camelo (Marblehead, Mass.) sent a through ball to Sexton leading to a break away. In the 78th minute, Sexton again was able to separate himself from a defender and score past the diving keeper.

NETMINDERS

New England College's Tenzin Khenrab finished the game with two saves.

Colby-Sawyer's Shane Sacks made eight saves in net for the Chargers.
