Box Score HENNIKER, N.H.- Colby-Sawyer College men's soccer forward Max Yee (Hooksett, N.H.) netted both goals lifting the Chargers past the New England College Pilgrims 2-0 Saturday afternoon.

With the win the Chargers even their overall record at 4-4-1 overall and improve to 1-1-0 in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). The loss evens the Pilgrims' record at 4-4-1 overall and drop them to 0-1-1 in NAC play.

Colby-Sawyer would get on the board early as Carlton Wheeler-Omiunu would slip a pass through the middle of the field and Max Yee (Hooksett, N.H.) would finish beating NEC goalie Mark Nowak (Newburgh, N.Y.).

Neither team would muster a goal throughout the remainder of the opening half. NEC had a scoring opportunity early in the second half as Michael Skarbelis (North Andover, Mass.) would head in pass from Brandon Currier (Merrimack, N.H.) that would get called back due to offsides.

Colby-Sawyer would get some breathing room in the 58th minute of play as Yee would take advantage of a Pilgrim misplay and take in a loose ball netting his second goal of the game unassisted.

NEC would turn up the offensive pressure late as NEC's Rizy Misiri (Concord, N.H.) and Brandon Currier would each have balls ricochet off the goal posts and out.

The Pilgrims finished the game out shooting the Chargers 22-4 and held the slight 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Picking up the win in net for Colby-Sawyer was Nick Austin (Westerly, R.I.) who finished the game with 10 saves.

NEC returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 4 when they host conference opponent Green Mountain College. Colby-Sawyer returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 30 when they host non-conference opponent Becker College.
