Box Score Henniker, N.H. New England College men's soccer teammates Sebastian Andersson (Sundyberg, Sweden) and Michael Skarbelis (North Andover, Mass.) have earned North Atlantic Conference (NAC) honors for their performances throughout the week of Sept. 7-13.

Andersson has been honored as the NAC Player of the Week for the second straight week. Andersson had an impressive week for the Pilgrims totaling two goals and an assist leading his team to three victories. In Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Regis, the senior assisted on the game-winning goal in the 77th minute. The forward then netted the game-winner four minutes into double overtime lifting the Pilgrims past Elms 2-1 on Saturday. Andersson tacked on a goal in NEC's 5-2 victory over Rivier University on Sunday.

First-year forward Michael Skarbelis has been named NAC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. Skarbelis had a foot in four of the Pilgrims' five goals in Sunday's 5-2 victory over Rivier University. The rookie tallied two goals in the span of 42 seonds, as he netted a goal at 5:30 and another at 6:12 to put NEC up 2-0 in the first half. Skarbelis then assisted on the third and fourth goals of the game, in the 49th minute and the 52nd minute, which gave the Pilgrims a 4-0 lead.
