HENNIKER, N.H. New England College Men's Lacrosse junior Brody McGonigle (Concord, N.H.) has been named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Preseason Watch List for the 2026 season.
McGonigle, entering his third season for the Pilgrims, has posted six goals and eight assists in his career as a midfielder. He had his highest scoring game on March 5, 2025, when he scored two goals against Vermont State University Castleton. Over his first two seasons, he has forced 37 turnovers and picked up 112 ground balls, with a career high of 72 in 2025.
Freshman Owen Taylor (Lanesborough, Mass.) was also named to the list as an incoming player. Entering his first year for the Pilgrims by way of Mount Greylock High School, the midfielder joins a squad ready to compete. He scored 17 goals and recorded 22 assists in 12 games for the Hoosac Valley Hurricanes.
McGonigle, Taylor, and the Pilgrims start their season Tuesday when they take on the University of Southern Maine Huskies at 3:00 PM on Don Melander Field.
