HENNIKER, N.H. - New England College Men's Wrestling Fell to Vermont State University Castleton 36-12 in a dual match on Thursday night.
Senior Patrick Hughes (Chelmsford, Mass.), junior Michael Follo (Derry, N.H.), and sophomore Joseph Bolduc (Methuen, Mass.) all picked up wins on the evening. Hughes nabbed an impressive win over the region's number three ranked wrestler in the 133-pound weight class, and Follo secured a victory over the region's number three ranked wrestler in the 141-pound weight class.
Despite the three big individual wins, the Spartans, who were most recently ranked 11th in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Coaches Poll, came away with the dual win.
