CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Sophomore wrestler Joseph Bolduc (Methuen, Mass.) represented New England College at the 2026 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Bolduc started his run in the championship preliminary round where he took on North Central's Jake Luce, who was ranked sixteenth. After a scoreless first period, Bolduc started the second period on bottom where he took the 1-0 via escape. After a takedown and a near fall, Luce came away with the 8-1 decision win to send Bolduc to the consolation preliminary round against fourteenth-seeded Jaylen Young from Wabash.

Bolduc found himself down 3-0 when he was taken down by Young just 15 seconds into the match before he was able to escape for a point. Bolduc started the second period with an escape and a takedown to go up 5-3. An additional takedown sealed the win and pushed Bolduc to the next consolation round.

He went on to face Nolen Zeigler from Lycoming, where Bolduc scored the first points with a second-period escape. Eight straight points from Zeigler finished the scoring as Bolduc's season came to an end.
