HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College men's soccer team picked up its second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly award this week as freshman Eddy Nyemah (Manchester, N.H.) was named Rookie of the Week for the week ending on September 21st.  

Nyemah has appeared in four games with one start for the 2025 season.Making his first career start in Saturday's game against Emmanuel College (Mass.), Eddy scored his first collegiate goal that would ultimately give the Pilgrims the win. The goal secured the 1-0 victory over the Saints who made it to the semi-final round of the 2024 GNAC tournament. This win marks the first GNAC win of the season for the 'Grims.  

The Pilgrims will continue GNAC competition this week when they travel to Newton, Massachusetts on Tuesday to face Lasell University and later return home on Saturday to host the Dean Bulldogs.
