HENNIKER, N.H. – Junior midfielder Daniel Varga (Hampton, N.J.) of the New England College men's lacrosse team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for the week ending March 9, 2025, in an announcement by the conference on Monday.

Junior midfielder Daniel Varga produced a dominant game for the Pilgrims this past week as the Hampton, N.J. native as he collected seven goals and six assists for 13 points in a 24-17 victory over Vermont State Castleton. Varga also chipped in four ground balls and a caused turnover as well.

Varga has helped lead NEC to their first 3-0 record in 25 years, as he's scored 12 goals with a team-high nine assists going into Tuesday's game at Goucher College in Maryland.
