SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - Graduate face-off specialist Evan Zonderman (Dracut, Mass.) of the NEC men's lacrosse team was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Academic All-New England Team on Thursday. 

The NEILA Academic All-New England teams recognize graduating student athletes who have excelled both on the field and in the classroom throughout their playing careers. 

Zonderman wrapped up his second season for the Pilgrims in 2026, starting all 15 games with 15 goals and three assists en route to earning GNAC All-Conference Third Team honors. He dominated on face-offs this season with a 213-317 record, good for a .672 face-off win percentage which ranked second in program history. 

298 student-athletes across 59 different colleges and universities were recognized, including 202 players from Division III institutions. The full list of honorees can be found here.
