HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's basketball team won 83-60 against visiting Regis College on Tuesday evening at the Bridges Gymnasium in Henniker, New Hampshire in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

TURNING POINTS
- The 'Grims used an early 11-2 run to take the lead, capped off by back-to-back layups by NEC senior guard Amya Moss (Norfolk, Va.). After that, they were never threatened again, finishing the first quarter with a 30-16 lead, led by Moss with twelve. The senior made her first six shots of the game.
- The Pilgrims continued to pour it on in the second quarter. NEC made four-of-eight three-pointers behind the arc in the frame, including two by junior guard Mackenzie McDonald (Boscawen, N.H.), to go into halftime with a commanding 56-30 lead. They would never look back.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- New England College junior forward Abigail Lacy (Arroyo Grande, Calif.) led the Pilgrims with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists, leading eleven NEC players breaking into the scoring column.
- Moss scored twelve points – all in the first quarter – with three steals while McDonald scored ten to go along with six rebounds.
- Regis junior forward Madi Zancan (Cumberland, R.I.) led the Pride with a game-high 17 points.
- NEC junior guard Macy Gordon (Boscawen, N.H.) finished with five points and a career-high eight rebounds.
- NEC senior forward Gabriella Matlock (Tulare, Calif.) posted eight points, four boards and a career-high five assists.
- NEC sophomore forward Camryn Lewis (Taunton, Mass.) hit double-digits with ten points and six rebounds.
