GORHAM, Maine – The New England College men's wrestling team was defeated at the University of Southern Maine on Friday at Hill Gymnasium in Gorham, Maine.
TOP 'GRIMS
- freshman Dominic Gangi (Methuen, Mass.) started off with a win against USM's Noah Krysztofiak in a 13-0 major decision.
- junior Caden Frost (Steep Falls, Maine) reclaimed the lead for the Pilgrims with a 6-5 decision win over Kyle Moore to put NEC up 7-5.
- junior Zach Soda (Burlington, Mass.) again gave the Pilgrims a lead with a 17-2 technical fall victory over Kaleb Pool.
- junior Josh Bean (Londonderry, N.H.) was the final Pilgrim to win a match in the dual as he pinned Michael Sanchez in 3:30.
