Three ‘Grims from Men’s Lacrosse Awarded GNAC All Conference Accolades
HENNIKER, N.H.- The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has recognized three 'Grims on the season for All-Conference accolades in junior attacker Henri Pfeifle (Darien, Conn.), sophomore Jackson Kain (Plattsburgh, N.Y.), and freshman Nate Finn (Norwood, Mass.) for their stellar performances.

Pfeifle, since being a part of the program, has hit the ground running from the very beginning of the season, making his presence known every time he's on the field. His efforts have earned him All-Conference First Team leading the team in goal scoring with 55 as well as points totaling up 73. The junior's 55 goals were the most scored in the program since 2018. For the season he has collected three or more goals in 12 games worth of competition. Pfeifle's numbers continued to stick out among the GNAC finishing as third highest scorer in the conference and fifth in points.

Kain was a defensive force for the team this season. As a captain of the team Kain led the defense with the most caused turnovers acquiring 50 along with gathering 72 groundballs. To go with his defensive array of skills the sophomore had offensive capabilities to go with his resume on the year as well concluding with three goals and an assist. On two occasions during the course of the season managed to cause six turnovers. Pertaining to groundballs Kain had recorded a season high of eight. This earned him All-Conference Second Team.

Finn has made some huge strides in his first season in the program stepping up as the starting goalkeeper early on and never looked back as he acted as the nucleus for the defense. Just recently Finn was named the GNAC Rookie of the Week on April 14th after an astonishing performance where the freshman finished with 24 saves, the most recorded since 2020 by a single player. Finn's rankings in the GNAC have him placed in eighth for saves having 156 and 52.9 save percentage, ultimately earning him All-Rookie Team status.

Senior midfielder Joey Olsen (Mansfield, Mass.) was named to the GNAC Sportsmanship team.

Congratulations to these three student athletes on their awards and representing New England College in their first year in the GNAC!
