HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College Athletic Department has bestowed junior alpine skier Madeline Ten Kate (Dryden, N.Y.) as their Female Pilgrim of the Month for February 2024.

In all of February, Ten Kate was the top 'Grim in all four races for the women, finishing first amongst her peers in each one. Her top performance in the month came at Lost Valley where she placed 48th overall between both men and women where she ended with a result of 1:14.38. She also had an astonishing finish at close-by Pats Peak in Henniker, New Hampshire where she had a result of 1:29.28 putting her in 10th place.

The junior skier's other two February races were not far off from her best as she posted a 17th place finish at the Mittersill Alpine Resort with a result of 1:44.72, along with a 24th place result at Titcomb Mountain with a final time of 1:21.33.

"Maddy Ten Kate skied very well in her first year as a Pilgrim," said head coach Robert Miller. "With a 10th place finish at Pats Peak and helping the women's team achieve its first ever 3rd place team result."
Congratulations to the whole alpine ski team on their season!
