HENNIKER, N.H. - The New England College Athletic Department has recognized freshman alpine skier
Hogan Bemis (Stow, Maine) as their Male Pilgrim of the Month for February 2024.
Bemis has been nothing short of a spectacular addition in his first year at NEC, where he finished in the highest place for the 'Grims in two out of the four races in February including a 10th-place finish (1:16.71) at nearby Pats Peak in Henniker, New Hampshire. His other team-leading performance came at the Lost Valley where he finished in 13
th-place with a result of 1:03.97.
The first-year skier also had some solid performances in his other two races that contained a 36th-place finish at Titcomb Mountain with a result time of 1:16.95, as well as finishing in the top-15 in the first run at the Mittersill Alpine Resort with a time of 44.26.
"
Hogan Bemis had a good first year of collegiate skiing, placing 10th at Pats Peak, and helping the men to their first-ever 3rd place team result," said head coach Robert Miller.
