HENNIKER, N.H. – The New England College women's basketball team won 72-48 over visiting Mount Holyoke College on Thursday evening at the Bridges Gymnasium in Henniker, New Hampshire in non-conference action.

TURNING POINTS
- The Pilgrims went into halftime with a 35-28 lead, with ten players breaking into the scoring column behind a balanced attack.
- NEC opened the second half with a 13-0 run, including back-to-back jumpers by junior guard Mackenzie McDonald (Boscawen, N.H.) to open the scoring. From there, it was all 'Grims as the hosts went by as much as 26 off a pair of free throws by junior forward Abigail Lacy (Arroyo Grande, Calif.) with 3:26 to go.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC sophomore guard Bailey Burke (New Bedford, Mass.) led the way for the Pilgrims with 12 points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals.
- NEC junior guard Macy Gordon (Boscawen, N.H.) buried a career-high four three-pointers, shooing four of five from behind the arc.
- Mount Holyoke first year power forward Helena Robinson (Gales Ferry, Conn.) posted 11 points and eight rebounds for the Lyons, while senior guard Cal McGonagle (Yarmouth, Maine) added 11.
- NEC junior guard Ajayah Lively (Victorville, Calif.) pulled down a game high 12 rebounds while dishing out six assists, impacting the game while only scoring three points off three shots.
- McDonald added nine points on the night.
