Women’s Hoops Rally Falls Just Short at Curry

MILTON, Mass. – The New England College women's basketball team lost 64-59 at Curry College on Monday evening at Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium in Milton, Massachusetts in non-conference action.

Score:                  New England College 59, Curry 64
Records:              Pilgrims 4-4 | Colonels 3-3

TURNING POINTS

  • Three-point shooting gave Curry the edge as the Colonels shot 47.4 percent (9-of-19) while the Pilgrims shot 33.3 percent (3-of-9).
  • Led by NEC junior guard Ajayah Lively (Victorville, Calif.) and her ten rebounds, the Pilgrims enjoyed an 15-8 advantage in offensive rebounding, managing a 12-6-point edge in second chance points.
