MILTON, Mass. – The New England College women's basketball team lost 64-59 at Curry College on Monday evening at Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium in Milton, Massachusetts in non-conference action.

TURNING POINTS
- The Pilgrims, down by four at halftime, fell behind 51-38 going into the fourth quarter. NEC rallied with a 9-0, pulling to within four off a layup from junior forward Abigail Lacy (Arroyo Grande, Calif.) with 5:17 to go. But Curry would hold on down the stretch as not even back-to-back threes by the 'Grims in the final twelve seconds could close the gap.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- NEC senior guard Amya Moss (Norfolk, Va.) led the Pilgrims with 13 points, five assists and four rebounds.
- Curry junior guard Lauren Dunn (Hanson, Mass.) led all scorers with 21 points and seven boards.
- NEC sophomore guard Bailey Burke (New Bedford, Mass.) contributed 11 points while senior forward Gabriella Matlock (Tulare, Calif.) added ten.
- Three-point shooting gave Curry the edge as the Colonels shot 47.4 percent (9-of-19) while the Pilgrims shot 33.3 percent (3-of-9).
- Led by NEC junior guard Ajayah Lively (Victorville, Calif.) and her ten rebounds, the Pilgrims enjoyed an 15-8 advantage in offensive rebounding, managing a 12-6-point edge in second chance points.
