HOPKINTON, N.H. - The New England College cross country team competed at the 2024 NCAA Division-III Cross Country Northeast Region Championships hosted by Suffolk University on Saturday at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in nearby Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
TOP 'GRIMS
- Kicking off the meet at 11:00 AM this morning was the women's race, and freshman Sophia Lapointe (Salem, N.H.) paced the 'Grims finishing the 6k course in 33:59. A few spots behind her finished junior Aleesa Jordan (Casco, Maine) in 35:34.
- In the men's 8k race at noon, senior Malik Keresey (Pittsfield, Maine) ended the year with a season's best 31:29. The senior had been consistently running under 32-minutes for the last month and now ends his senior season in Henniker with a season's best.
