NEW HAVEN, CT- The New England College men's soccer team competed in their first Great Northeast Atlantic Conference matchup against the Falcons of Albertus Magnus College that resided in a draw, 1-1 from Celentano Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pilgrims settled into the match relatively quick as sophomore forward Noel Huliselan (Dover, N.H.) kept his scoring streak alive as he secured the first goal at 17:07.
- By the 58:27 mark the Falcons got themselves on the board with the assistance of graduate midfielder Declan Ryan (Hamden, Conn).
- From there on it was a stalemate to close out the game ending in a 1-1 tie with neither team securing their first conference win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Junior goalkeeper Hayden Walker (Manchester, N.H.) gathered eight saves at the pitch on the evening.
- NEC's Huliselan scored a goal along with AMC's Ryan.
- The Pilgrim's only managed to get off five shots to the Falcons 22 giving them the edge in that category.
