BOSTON, Mass. – The New England College men's lacrosse team lost 20-6 at Emmanuel College in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at Clemente Field in Boston, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Down 3-0 early on, the Pilgrims rallied to pull to within one with 8:31 left in the second after a goal from sophomore attacker Thomas Norton (Mansfield, Mass.), assisted by junior midfielder Thomas Doe (Windham, N.H.). That was as close as NEC would get, however, as Emmanuel reeled off 13 unanswered goals.
- NEC sophomore goalie Connor Almstrom (Cumberland, R.I.) tallied 16 saves on the night. Junior attacker Matt Daley (Plymouth, Mass.) led the Pilgrims with a hat trick of three goals and one assist. Freshman long-stick midfielder Jackson Kain (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) led the defensive effort with six ground balls and one caused turnovers.
- Emmanuel senior attacker Ryan Castle (Boxford, Mass.) led all players with six goals and four assists.
UP NEXT
- NEC is back on the field on Wednesday when they conclude their regular season with a 8:00 p.m. game at Eastern Nazarene College.
