The Lions jumped out to a 21-14 lead after the first quarter and grew it to double-digits before the Pilgrims battled back to a 5-point deficit at the half.

The two teams matched one another in the third quarter as the home team brought a 5-point lead into the final quarter of play.

A big fourth quarter by Eastern Nazarene, led by senior guard Alondra Jimenez's (Santa Barbara, Calif.) 10 fourth quarter points, extended the Lions' lead up to 19 by the final buzzer.

Jimenez led all scorers with 23 points on 10 of 16 shooting, while adding 5 rebounds and 6 assists.

The 'Grims were led in scoring by senior guard Asia Jones (Boynton Beach, Fla.) who put up 12 points on 4 of 6 shooting from beyond-the-arc.

Freshman guard Mackenzie McDonald (Boscawen, N.H.) came off the bench and contributed 11 points and brought down 5 boards.

The Lions featured four players in double figures while shooting 46.8 percent from the floor as a team.
